A young woman named Amy, a sole survivor in a world devastated by an unknown catastrophe, sets off on a dangerous quest in search of the unknown source of a mysterious broadcasting signal. She is determined to follow the song to its source no matter where it leads and no matter the danger that lurks in the vast, haunting woods ahead…

An ambitious blend of fairytale mysticism and classic post-apocalyptic SF, The Reverie is a British film being made by documentary and short-film maker Sam Wildman and producer Sian Tomlinson, with actress Joanne Gale (whose various credits include Red Dwarf) as the film’s solitary star. Their intention is to shoot the film entirely in The New Forest, in the South of England, a location ideal for its moody wildnerness and atmospheric mysteriousness.

The Reverie Kickstarter campaign was selected as a Kickstarter staff pick on March 11th. The project is about £1,000 short of its target, so any independent movie fans or supporters, patrons of British film, or fans of moody SF/fairytale epics, should go give it a look at The Reverie Kickstarter page and consider helping the fascinating-looking project into existence…
