Friends, Romans, Countrymen, lend me your ear!
Alex Johnston, author of the novel Caesar’s Daughter: Julia’s Song, is giving his novel away for free. You can download the Kindle edition from Amazon at no cost.

But you’ll need to move quickly; the offer is only valid from May 16th until May 20th.

Set amid the eventful, colourful backdrop of late Republican Rome, this novel is the latest in a sequence of works by Johnston, crossing paths with some of the legendary historical figures of the era, including Julius Caesar, Marcus Cicero and Pompey Magnus. This latest adventure follows Johnston’s fictional character Marcus Mettius as he is tasked with couriering an important letter from Caesar to the future dictator’s ill-fated daughter Julia
