I was asked to share these links and information: and, as they relate to the same, very important subject, I’m doing them both together.
Fresh Start Foundation is an independent, Scottish not-for-profit group, helping child sexual abuse victims and survivors to seek justice and to support their recovery. They are inviting anyone with something to contribute or anyone seeking help to attend their free conference at The Station Hotel in Perth, Scotland, on 3rd May 2017 from 9:15 am to 6 pm.
Event information here. Or reach them via firstname.lastname@example.org.
On a related note, I was also asked to share a petition launched by Survivors of Child Sexual Abuse.
The petition is calling “on the Government, Labour Party and Lib Dems to launch investigations into allegations that MPs and peers raped and assaulted children during the 1980s and 1990s”. It requests that some 23 politicians to be interviewed by their parties to help shed light on alleged crimes against children in London.
The written statement specifies individual politicians, but also specifies specific locations requring investigation, such as Islington children’s homes in the 1980s, Richmond upon Thames children’s homes, Westminster City Council real estate and Lambeth Borough Council children’s homes during the same period, Wales’ Clwyd and Gwynedd children’s homes, Belfast’s Kincora Boys’ School, and infamous sites in the Channel Islands.
You can read more and sign the petition here.
