Russian officials have warned that a new ‘world war’ is in danger of being set off in Syria, partly in response to the actions and maneuvers of Turkey and Saudi Arabia in recent weeks. But if World War III is an imminent possibility, why? And why would it not be stopped?

The nightmare that is post-Gaddafi Libya is showing no signs of improving any time soon.
Libyans who were promised democracy and progress by NATO and the international powers that rained bombs down across the country in 2011 have in fact been given nothing of the sort.

In 2008 or 2009, the BBC made a documentary on life inside Libya: I remember it because I watched it at the time of its broadcast. Up until the beginning of 2011, that video was available on You Tube.
Once the international community had made up its mind – after years of back and forth – that Gaddafi was ‘evil’ and a war had to be waged on Libya, all versions of the documentary were removed from the web.

saif-gaddafi-1
“We delayed building a stronger army or buying new weapons,” Saif Gaddafi explained to RT in July 2011, in the midst of the collapse of his nation, “because we thought ‘we will not have to fight again’; because the Europeans and the Americans are our friends  now…”
He had been wrong about that of course, as had his father; and the sense of betrayal and shock on Saif’s part was palpable.

This post will highlight again some of what the mainstream media coverage won’t.
A warning: this post contains at least one distressing image.

Russia-Ukraine-world-war-3
100 years ago there was a war; a rather devastating war that wiped out half the male population of Europe. It was called ‘The Great War’, now commonly referred to as World War I.
At the time, it was even optimistically referred to as “the war to end all wars”. However, as the Second World War – occurring within the lifetime of most of those who fought in World War I – demonstrated, the capacity and the will of nations to go to war with each other was no thing of the past.

The tragic deaths of hundreds of people by drowning in recent days, all risking their lives to reach Europe via Libya, is just the latest in a long line of tragic effects and human costs to the illegal NATO-led ‘intervention’ in Libya in 2011.

Vladimir Putin may be holding a substantial and explosive trump-card, should the US and NATO continue to push and provoke Russia in regard to Eastern Ukraine.
The word has in fact been going around for a while now that Russia’s besieged President may be intending to release satellite imagery that would definitively reveal the Bush-era US government’s role in the 9/11 attack on the World Trade Center: showing definitively that 9/11 was a false-flag operation by treasonous elements of America’s national security community.
